3-development of institutions needed to support and facilitate international trade

2-communications enable control from a far
3-transportation and communication costs are more conducive for international operations


there are four major operating objectives that may influence companies to engage in international marketing as:
1-to expand their sale
2-to acquire resources
3-to diversify their sources of sales and supplies
4-to minimize competitive risk

1-global configuration of marketing activities,where activities such as new product development,advertising,sales promotion,channel selection,marketing research and other functions should be performed

2-global coordination of marketing activities,how global marketing activities performed in different countries should be coordinated.

3-linkage of marketing activities,how marketing activities should be linked with other activities of the form

then now why we studying international marketing?

1-marketing is more significant for doing business abroad and for analyzing the impact of international happenings on business at home,rather than other functions of business as manufacturing ,finance,..etc. because marketing responds to local cultural and business multiplier inter relationships with the local environment.
2-growing internationalization of business brings about changes in the positioning of competitors and the appropriate competitive strategies .
3-consumers overseas have different needs and expectations .
